I Think I Have A Problem

I am picking up firewood on the side of the road and
convincing strangers to help me load it....
At least I am not carrying my new chain saw with me...
Yet...
I haven't shown you that nice toy, have I?
Do you think I need a 12-step program or a bigger car?

  1. Thank goodness for you Matty! I was beginning to doubt my sanity, until I read you blog. I'm always telling Ran that there's so many branches lying by the wayside it seems wasteful not to pick it up. Good for the environment and good for the pocketbook.

  2. I love your post today Matty! You remind me of a very dear friend I have in California named Vicki. She was building a koi pond in her front yard, and wanted to have a beautiful rock garden surrounding it. So she started picking up rocks and little boulders wherever she saw them. Not an easy task to find in the big city near Los Angeles! She went out to the Mojave Dessert to visit her brother and hit the mother-load. How she managed to load this huge boulder into the back of her trunk, I'll never know. When she started down the road, it broke the car's axel! But did she learn? No she wouldn't be my dear wacky friend if she had. Later the next year the same thing happened again when she was building her brick patio... :) Have a great evening and happy firewood collecting. Delisa :)
