Say it isn't so...

A rogue deer attacked the Goat Mobile. While usually a Forester would trump a deer, this time both were casualties.

Now the question becomes: another Forester or a new truck? Remember, I have a wonderful 1976 Ford, but the smell of a new one... well.... I think that covers it!

What do you think??

  2. Wow! I've heard that deer can cause quite a bit of damage. I had no idea they could total your car. I'd chose truck!

  3. Hi Matty, I'm so glad you didn't get hurt. My friend hit a deer last year. It was about 10:00 at night on a dark road. It deployed the air bag on her car and she got really bruised up. Her car was totaled too. It is something I think about every time we are driving at night. I hope you find a new Goat Mobile that is just right for your needs! Have a restful evening ahead! Delisa :)

  4. Trucks are good...BUT its always nice to have something you can haul stuff in with out it getting wet or blowing away! Kyle calls my van a farm truck....;D Where is the water coming in at on your boys shelter? I have used pallets in the barn floor now to raise it up some and keep it from being so mucky. Seems to be working fairly well...

  5. Hi Matty! I was just out and about this morning and thought I would pop over and say hi! I hope you are having a nice weekend and that your car shopping is going well. We have sure had a cold snap, no snow but everything is frosted over. We had some good friends over on friday for a little pizza party. It was really fun to see all of their children again. There were 5 of them all under the age of 7, plus a delightful six month old baby girl! We made a play area for them in the dining room. Barkley dog and I are still resting up from all the excitement! :) He loves kids more than just about anything and he didn't leave their side from the moment they walked in the door. I wish I could bottle up a little bit of their energy. I am going to seriously rest this afternoon and work on my knitting a bit. I noticed a major mistake on the new lace scarf I'm making for my mother-in-law and had to frog it back to the beginning. Usually if it is a little error I will just keep going but this was going to effect the shape of the whole piece. Have a lovely sunday! Delisa :)
