Good morning, sunbeams! So glad you dropped by for a little tea and conversation! Here is my little feast: a fine cup of tea and homemade pumpkin scone with Amish butter. Yum!
This morning I want to tell each of you how much you have come to mean to me. I've only been blogging for a few months; I have lurked at a number of blogs, but it wasn't until September that I took the plunge. You all have made me feel so welcome! Thank you!
Will you take a few minutes to post and then link to your blog? If you have a picture of your tea party, won't you share it there?
Have a glorious day!
Warmly,
Matty
Thanks, Matty, for inviting us all this morning. Nothing beats sharing a cup of coffee or a cup of tea with friends; listening to each others’ stories and sharing lessons learned. Just like talking over the backy fence. Actually I was made more aware of this earlier today when I lost my internet connection. I was worried I would miss tea time!

ps - I forgot to mention I am enjoying a cup of peppermint coffee and peanut butter cookies.
ReplyDeleteAnd it is a beautiful day here in Minnesota!

Hi Sandy!
ReplyDeleteGood to see you this morning! John is enjoying coffee, too! Did I mention he got up early this morning because he smelled the pumpkin spice scones?? They are the same receipt as Starbucks, according to the writer.
Fondly,
Matty
Mattie,
ReplyDeleteSo glad we could all drop over to visit you this morning. You have a wonderful place here. I just got back from my walk to the lake and was just sitting down with my diet coke. I'll have my tea soon. My picture is at

OOOHHH, would love the recipe for those scones.
ReplyDeleteI set out a couple cupcakes I made for Christopher's birthday and I'm enjoying Afternoon Tea (in the morning) that Steph brought back from England.
I didn't put it in the teacup until after I took the pictures so I didn't cover up the pretty inside roses. :)
Good morning, friends! So wonderful you could drop by for a visit!
ReplyDeleteThe sun is shining in the moutains today; however, it is 37-degrees still. It is the perfect kind of day!
The scones are wonderful! BOTH men are here now and eating like they have worked half a day!
Oh a mountain view besides a farm view with goats! What a beautiful spot you must be in. Minnesota does have a lot of beautiful lakes. But no mountains!
ReplyDeleteI would love to see Minnesota! I work with a Math professor from there and he says it is a beautiful place. I want to see the lakes!
ReplyDeleteSandy, the gals weren't being very cooperative with pictures, but I will post 'em soon. Tempermental little girls!
My husband is from Kentucky... we love the mountains. It's a little flat here in our part of Michigan. Goats are just too cute.
ReplyDeleteI have never seen a goat frown! They are stubborn and, when in sight of food, they will fight anyone to get to it!
ReplyDeleteWhere in KY? I love around Louisville. Such a pretty place!
Ya'll, you just have to try these pumpkin scones! They are so light and flavorful! I may shame myself before the morning is over and eat every single one!

My dear friends Diane, Sarah, and all the Dolls,
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful of you all to join us this morning! Little Tasha is quite striking in her little pinafore and ribboned hair! She looks quite grown up!
So happy you could come by!
Fondly,
Matty
I don't know Hyden. Is it in the coal country or more northern?
ReplyDeleteHello Ladies!
ReplyDeleteI want to thank our host, Miss Matty, for inviting us all to tea. I have posted pics of my sweet little Teagan and our tea party participation. We enjoyed a wonderful giant blueberry muffin and a cup of English Breakfast Tea.
We also remembered our manners, which is not always easy for a Jack Russel Terrier :)
This was such a fun idea!
Hugs
Karyn,
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely blog you have! And I adore your tea companions! They seemed to have on their best manners for the party!
Thanks for dropping by!
Fondly,
Matty
