Every morning he would greet us at the front door as my husband left for work. Somehow he would sneak by and refuse to leave, finding the most comfortable spot, which was usually our bed or a basket holding the latest afghan I was crocheting at the time. He was a gray kitty with a snaggle tooth and was the sweetest cat I've ever known. He had more personality in one little claw than most people have in their whole body! As a young newlywed, he kept me company all day.
